  11. Recently while browsing the Aminet I found the fantastic GlowIcons by Matt Chaput. I 
  12. decided to design some icons for my applications (or those I'd like to have). Some of 
  13. them are based on the work of other authors such as the drawers (Matt Chaput), the 
  14. Lemming and the Doom face. Some Icons originally were made for Windows but I redrew them.
  15.  Please note that you need NewIcons in order to use these Icons. They should look 
  16. quite fine running a screen with 32 colors but I advise you to use at least 64 colors. 
  17. The best solution would be a graphics board, of course.
  18. The program "CopyNewIcon" delivered with NewIcons should be used to replace your icons 
  19. with these new ones.

  23. * Fixed a bug (hopefully) which prevented most icons from being displayed with a transparent 
  24.   background. Thanks to Heinz Andriola for making me notice that.

  33. ===== Deutsch =====
  34. Als ich neulich das Aminet durchstöberte, fand ich die fantastischen GlowIcons von Matt 
  35. Chaput. Ich entschloß mich dazu, einige Icons für meine Programme (oder solche, die ich gerne 
  36. hätte) zu designen. Einige von ihnen basieren auf der Arbeit anderer Autoren, so z.B. die 
  37. Schubladen (Matt Chaput), der Lemming und das Doom Gesicht. Einige Icons wurden ursprünglich 
  38. für Windows geschaffen, aber ich habe sie neu gemalt.
  39. Bitte nehmt zur Notiz, daß Ihr NewIcons benötigt, um die Icons zu nutzen. Auf einem 
  40. Screen mit 32 Farben sollten sie halbwegs akzeptabel aussehen, aber ich empfehle 
  41. mindestens 64 Farben zu nutzen. Am besten wäre natürlich eine Grafikkarte.
  42. Das Programm "CopyNewIcon", daß mit NewIcons mitgeliefert wird, sollte dazu benutzt 
  43. werden, um eigene Icons durch diese neuen hier zu ersetzen.
